Prime Minister Narendra Modi and most of his ministers are expected to attend an event at India Gate to be hosted by Amitabh Bachchan on May 28 on the second anniversary of the NDA government. Government is organising the program 'Jara Muskura Do', which will have several performances and programmes highlighting its achievements. The show will be telecast on Doordarshan. Various schemes and programmes, particularly Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Digital India and Rural Electrification, will be highlighted during the show. On 2 years completion of NDA government, programs will be organised in different cities. The government had formed a panel of ministers, headed by Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu and comprising union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal and Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, to supervise preparations for the show. Samiti discussed regarding the government schemes which need to be highlighted. Last year, the Modi government had celebrated its first year with the slogan 'Saal Ek, Shuruaat Anek'. The Information and Broadcasting Ministry had asked various ministries to provide details of their achievements. Government has planned to organise 200 programs from 26 May to 10 June in the country to highlight Government success. PM Modi is expected to attent rallies in different places, starting with an address in Saharanpur on May 26.
